Mommy and Daddy went to the Kings of Leon Concert

Brian and I went to see Kings of Leon at the Superpages center on Thursday night. My friend, Amanda, rode down with us and we met up with a couple of my friends from high school that live down there. Vickers arranged for a limo to take us all to and from the concert. We had a blast! Aunt Amber kept Katelyn overnight for the first time. I felt bad leaving Amber with her 2 kids plus mine, but she managed just fine. Im sure I will get to return the favor.

My 10 Year High School Reunion

I had my 10 year high school reunion this past weekend. I ended up being in charge of putting it together. Tracking down everyone and being in charge of the money was a little stressful but it seemed like everyone had a good time, so it was worth the hard work. Glad these only come around every 10 years.

2 Mommies, 3 Kids, and a Hotel Room.........

So Amber and I decided to load the babies up and head down to Frisco for our first hotel stay with the kids. We went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and shopping at the Disney store. We then checked in to our hotel room, hoping for the best. We had visions of one kid waking up and all of them waking up. The kids did great though. Katelyn and Hayden loved running around the room going from bed to bed. Hayden was very impressed by the telephone next to the toilet. Parker and Katelyn each woke up once during the night, but managed not to wake everyone else up. We all got up the next morning, bathed, and hit the town. We had breakfast at Chickfila and then went to Gattitown for lunch. Gattitown was like a big Chuck E. Cheese. We finished up with a stop at the Carter's outlet. We bought Parker and Katelyn matching Halloween Costumes there. All in all, it was a good trip!

Fun With Pig Tails

So I am finally getting the hang of putting Katelyn's hair in Pig Tails. I even put bows in this time. So cute! However, if she discovers them up there, they get ripped out immediately. Oh well, they are cute while they last.

Avery Shierry's 2nd Birthday Party

Avery Shierry turned 2 and had her birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's. Katelyn loved playing there and even let Chuck E. hold her. Thanks for having us Dustin and Lindy.

Michael Brown's Birthday Party

We got to go to Michael's Brown's 4th Birthday party this past Sunday! They had it in the Barwise Gym with moon bounces, every ride on toy imaginable, chili dogs, and sno cones. There were tons of kids there and we had a blast. Thank you for having us Michael.

Anniversary Trip to Colorado

Brian and I went to Colorado to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. Katelyn stayed with both sets of grandparents while we were gone. We went to the Royal Gorge and went Whitewater Rafting. The Gorge was amazing and rafting was a blast. We also spent a night in Denver and explored Downtown Denver. What an awesome city! We had a great time but couldn't wait to get home to our baby girl.
